Soldiers are a part of everyday life in Switzerland
Swiss citizens regularly serve in the military in order to practice their skills. This is why it is not unusual to see soldiers in uniform in everyday life, or to hear the sound of gunshots from shooting exercises. This is completely normal in Switzerland and not a sign of danger.
